The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of the assigned teacher. Your focus will be to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment and ensure that students remain on task with the work set by teaching staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher
- Manage student behaviour in accordance with school policies
- Ensure a calm and focused classroom atmosphere
- Collect completed work and provide feedback to the appropriate teacher
- Support students in understanding tasks and staying engaged
- Uphold the school’s values and always promote a positive ethos
About You

- Passionate about supporting students and contributing to their development
- Flexible and reliable, with a strong work ethic
- Ideally experienced in a school setting (though not essential)
