The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of the assigned teacher. Your focus will be to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment and ensure that students remain on task with the work set by teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Manage student behaviour in accordance with school policies
  • Ensure a calm and focused classroom atmosphere
  • Collect completed work and provide feedback to the appropriate teacher
  • Support students in understanding tasks and staying engaged
  • Uphold the school’s values and always promote a positive ethos

About You
We are seeking someone who is:

  • Confident, approachable, and resilient
  • Able to manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Passionate about supporting students and contributing to their development
  • Flexible and reliable, with a strong work ethic
  • Ideally experienced in a school setting (though not essential)
