We are seeking dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team in various secondary schools. This role is ideal for experienced teaching assistants who are ready to take the next step in their career, offering an immediate start in a supportive and dynamic work environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring that pre-set work is completed.
- Maintain a positive learning environment, manage classroom behavior, and ensure student engagement.
- Adapt to varying teaching settings and student needs, providing support and guidance where necessary.
- Liaise with teachers regarding student progress and any issues that arise during class.
- Assist in other educational activities as needed.
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor in UK secondary schools.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain order and respect within the classroom.
- Ability to engage and support students effectively, enhancing their learning experience.
- High flexibility and adaptability to cover various subjects and adapt to different classroom settings.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
