Your new school
You will be working with a variety of Gloucestershire-based secondary schools, currently looking for cover supervisor support throughout the academic year. We are currently recruiting on an immediate supply basis, covering day-to-day vacancies that may occur at a very short notice.
Your new role
In your new cover supervisor role, you will be required to assist and interact with a range of pupils from KS3 to KS5 and oversee as they complete work set by the class teacher. You will deal with any issues that may arise by following the school's procedures and behaviour policies.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have the ability to adapt to working in a variety of schools with a number of different plans and timetables. You will be confident and comfortable in classroom environments with a proven track record of contributing to teamwork as well as leading a group. Teaching assistants, unqualified teachers and undergraduate students are welcome to apply for this position. Flexibility is also central to this role and you will need the ability to adapt to a number of different timetables and working environments.
