This is a perfect opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge of teaching in a primary setting. You will not have to plan any of the content displayed in these lessons as these have been provided by the lead teacher. For this role you will be responsible to make sure that each pupil is motivated to learn in the absence of the teacher. Furthermore, you will ensure that you provide the best information and support whilst in these classes. You will be sent the lesson plans before your placement so do not fear… you will have time to prepare.
Currently based on the outskirts of Horley, This school are looking for a reliable and confident candidate to assist with their primary unit. This role will consist of Monday to Friday in one school placement and will require a candidate who can assist to every need, sickness cover and maternity leave. In general you will be hands on when it comes to teaching in the primary unit. Furthermore, the school pride themselves to provide any support for new candidates and training will be provided if required.

For this role you will be responsible for:
- Teaching KS1 and KS2 Maths, English, Science and Phonics.
- An introduction to specific subjects such as: History, Art, Physical Education, Religious education, Information technology, Music and foreign languages.
- Promotion of welfare.
- Planning and organisation.
- Engaging one to one with students.
- Working alongside (SEN)
- Complete lesson plans accordingly.
- GCSE Maths, English and Science.
- Educational experience.
- Knowledge of British KS1 and KS2 Curriculum.
