Valley Education are currently seeking Cover Supervisors to work in Secondary schools in Merthyr Tydfil.

Candidates must be flexible to work and will ideally have a minimum of 3-6 months experience working with young adults or children.

The Role

• Deliver work set out by the classroom teacher

• Ensure work completion by each pupil within the classroom

• Have strong classroom management skills

• have an ability to provide inspiring working environment for pupils

• collect all work at the end of lessons

• provide feedback where necessary

Applicants Require:

•An enhanced DBS check which is subscribed to the update service or be willing to undergo one with

VES (all DBS checks must state that you are working with the child workforce in line with the DBS

guidelines)

•Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

•Details of two references, to cover the last 24 months of employment history.

•QTS Status (Bed, PGCE or equivalent)
