Cover Supervisor - Ashby

Monarch Education currently have a LARGE requirement for Cover Supervisors to support our schools in the Ashby/Coolville area on a day to day basis.

Do you have experience of working with students of secondary school age? Do you want to become a teacher and gain valuable experience working within school settings?

If your answer is yes, then I would be very interested in speaking with you.

We work closely with several schools within this area and require LOCAL support to cover sickness and general absences from our schools.
We work on a regular basis with these schools however as of late the requirement has increased more, so we are now looking to recruit additional support staff.

Our schools are very good with supporting staff who go into their school, so a tour will be given upon arrive, along with a full handover of the planned activity for the day or lesson(s). Your work will be set by the Head of Faculty and explained in detail before entering the class and meeting the students.

As a successful Cover Supervisor, you will:

- Have the ability to easily adapt your style to varying requirements of the students within the class
- Are able to support on both a small group and one-to-one basis
- Have good behaviour management and the confidence to take control of a class providing the work is set
- Can offer experience of working with other professionals
To be able to offer specialist skills such as flexibility, adaptability, confidence, good people skills, ability to work with young people and enthusiasm.

You will be subject to vetting checks including DBS enhanced Disclosure, professional references and a face to face interview.
