Costs Draftsperson

Our client has a permanent vacancy for an experienced Costs Draftsperson to join their team, part of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution group.

Your key duties will be:

  • drafting bills and schedules of costs
  • formulating offers and negotiating settlements
  • drafting cost budgets
  • attending cost budgeting hearings

Skills and experience you will have:

  • experience in drafting Bill of Costs is essential
  • experience in drafting cost budgets is strongly preferred though full training will be given for the right candidate

Key competencies you will need:

  • strong numerical and analytical abilities, and well as exceptional attention to detail
  • strong commitment to the principles of good customer service and an interest in this area
  • the ability to prioritise workload
  • enthusiasm, commitment and a team player approach with the ability to work in a busy team
  • a high degree of confidence over the phone and in person
  • a high level of accuracy and consistency
  • an enthusiasm to develop a career in the field of cost work
