Corporate Tax Associate
Location: Bristol or Cheltenham
Working Pattern: Hybrid Role, Monday to Friday (37 hours per week) + Flexitime
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (plus Study Support)

Robert Half is partnering with a prestigious chartered accountancy firm to recruit for a Corporate Tax Associate. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Corporate Tax Team in either their Bristol or Cheltenham office. The team is well-regarded for its work with a diverse portfolio of medium to large clients, including those in the tech sector and R&D businesses.

The role is available following the departure of a long-term associate, and the firm is seeking a skilled professional to continue delivering excellent tax services.

The Role:

• Prepare corporate tax returns (draft and final) for medium to large clients.
• Support junior associates and provide guidance on VAT-related tasks.
• Review tax returns and make necessary amendments.
• Develop leadership skills by mentoring junior staff members.

The Person:

• Corporate Tax Experience: Experience in the UK corporate tax field.
• Tax Return Preparation: Strong experience in preparing both draft and final corporate tax returns.
• Qualification: Ideally part-qualified CTA (or close to completion), or ATT qualified. We are also open to considering candidates with relevant experience in place of formal qualifications.

Team Structure:

• The team is led by an experienced manager and consists of associates and assistants, working together in a collaborative and supportive environment.
