Role responsibilities

  • Managing corporate tax compliance for a varied portfolio of clients across different industries
  • Providing advisory support on matters such as R&D claims, capital allowances, group structuring and corporate transactions
  • Reviewing corporation tax computations prepared by junior staff and providing technical guidance
  • Liaising with HMRC and clients to resolve queries and support planning work
  • Contributing to client meetings and delivering commercially focused tax advice
  • Supporting business development activity and building strong internal and external relationships
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members to strengthen the tax function

Candidate requirements

  • CTA qualified with at least three years' post-qualification experience in corporate tax
  • Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax compliance and advisory principles
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality technical work
  • Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness
  • Experience reviewing and mentoring junior staff
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to contribute to the growth of the firm
