Assistant Corporate Tax Manager - Cardiff - To: £50K

If you're serious about a career in business tax, you've just clicked onto one of the most sought after opportunities in South Wales, with the potential for career development for years to come - possibly life. We're recruiting for a large and highly reputable firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors who don't see their corporate tax team as just another department, they see it as a standalone university where they hope to develop the country's finest tax practitioners, dealing with some of the most interesting customers.

You'll be working with a vast and diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients to deliver exceptional tax compliance skills. You'll visit clients regularly onsite, in your home office and across other branches of the firm. You'll relay your findings to your team and identify and address complex circumstances effectively. The role is demanding and with tough deadlines, but the vocational development and employment benefits are absolutely second to none.

To be considered for the role you'll be either qualified, ideally CTA/ACA but potentially ATT, or consider yourself qualified by career experience. What's important is that the successful incumbent of the position understands UK corporate taxation inside out (or are heading to that point). You'll probably possess no less than three years of practice experience gained within a tax environment.

The rewards package on offer here is incredible. Not only will you receive a salary far beyond local market average, you'll enjoy comprehensive modern working benefits - part time or full time considered, flexible working, negotiated hours and the potential of remote (home) working.
