This international law firm seeks a corporate solicitor (3 years + pqe) to join their Glasgow team.
The corporate team provides a full-service offering and includes transactional experience across Equity Capital Markets, M&A, public company takeovers, professional practices and structured real estate. The team advises on the full range of both transactional and non-transactional corporate work and works with a wide range of UK and international clients, including FTSE 100 companies and many more "bold and beautiful clients".
The Firm has significant private equity and financial services transactional expertise and resource. The successful candidate will run their own transactions, with appropriate support where needed.
You should have gained at least three years' experience in corporate transactional roles in order to have gained the range of skills and expertise required for the position. This experience should ideally have been gained in similar firms but applicants from other backgrounds will be considered if they can demonstrate the required level of corporate transactional experience.
In addition to this, you should be able to demonstrate you are able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, challenging environment, where you will be required to meet tight deadlines.
Further, you will have:
- excellent academic achievement with a minimum 2:1 degree
- clear understanding of the operation and structure of a top law firm
- ability to achieve continuous improvement and development
