I'm looking to speak with NQ - 3 years’ PQE corporate solicitors for a role within a Legal 500, city centre based, full service practice.
In a busy market where there is high competition to recruit, what makes this role different?
My client is a well-established, Midlands commercial firm, based in Birmingham. They have organically grown their business over the past 10 years by offering consistently high quality legal advice across corporate, commercial, CDR, employment, construction, and private client services. Their corporate team deals with transactional work concerning M&A, disposals, MBO's / MBI's, JV's, group reorganisations, and corporate finance matters.
The team is a small, but dedicated group, and can offer some exciting reasons as to why this may be an attractive opportunity: your daily diet of work will vary considerably and therefore, you will gain experience in a wide range of corporate work, on behalf of a variety of clients and sectors. You will be trusted with clients from the outset and receive much more client contact at this point in your career than you would ordinarily expect to gain at larger national firms, indeed you will have the opportunity to run your own deals (with full support). The recruiting Partner is a highly respected Corporate Partner with an excellent track record for training and developing their team, and recognising and rewarding performance based on merit.
As with other corporate firms, there is an attractive financial and benefits package available, but the firm hopes to attract on the basis of what it can offer through its work, role and career progression.
