Corporate (Senior Associate) Solicitor: Bristol, Taunton or Southampton. 5-10PQE. £60-80,000 DOE.

We are currently seeking a Corporate Solicitor to join our client's organisation, a national law firm with a strong reputation in the industry. As part of our client's national Corporate team, led by 14 Partners, you will collaborate with colleagues both locally and nationally. Your responsibilities will involve assisting a diverse range of clients, including public and private UK and international companies and their owners. The scope of work will include M&A, equity and debt funding, and general corporate structuring. The collaborative nature of our client's corporate practise provides additional opportunities to develop your skills and experience.

Our client's caseload offers a wide range of high-quality work that will serve as an excellent foundation for your career in corporate law. Additionally, you will be encouraged to actively participate in business development activities, building client relationships, and contributing to the growth of our client's well-regarded practice.

To be successful in this role, our client is seeking an experienced Corporate Solicitor who:

  • Has 5 to 10 years of experience.
  • Has a track record of making an immediate impact and is ambitious to progress your career within corporate law.
  • Is proficient in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance, and a knowledge of debt finance will be beneficial.
  • Has strong academic achievements coupled with initiative, drive, and exceptional organisational skills are prerequisites for this role.
  • Possesses self-motivation, resilience, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Has a strong client management approach and an interest in business development are highly desired.
  • Enjoys supporting others, sharing ideas and opportunities, and celebrating collective success as collaboration and teamwork are fundamental to the organisation's culture.
