D. M. Keith are looking to recruit a sales management professional to run a small team of Business Development Managers in the Yorkshire area.

D. M. Keith are the largest Skoda retailer in the country. We are looking for a Manager to shape the progress of our local business sales channel. New business growth and organisational control will be key to success in this role.

Based out of either Leeds or York this exciting and progressive position would suit a person with proven knowledge and performance within the vehicle marketplace, however the ability to run and shape the performance of a team from day to day operations through to the strategic future of this department will also be a key attribute.

OTE £54,360

Working Monday - Friday 9.00 - 5.30pm

As a Corporate Sales Manager your Key Objectives will be:

  • Maximise sales and profitability through satisfaction and retention of customers
  • Achieve and strive to exceed all targets and sales objectives through a well-developed and motivated sales team
  • Work with the Brand Manager to formulate policies and procedures to increase vehicle sales
  • Help Centre to achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency and cost control
  • Ensure departmental compliance with company policies and industry guidelines

The Corporate Sales Manager will be fully responsible for driving the sales forward as well as developing a sales team.

  • Working as part of the management team you will establish and recommend sales targets/goals, manage and coordinate sales objectives and product lines to maximize opportunity and establish effective methods to coach, motivate and train your team
  • You will manage and develop existing accounts using your relationship building/ negotiation skills
  • You will forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams as well as developing business plans to ensure revenue growth
  • Help Centre to achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency and cost control
  • Review the monthly sales and profit performance in co-operation with other managers to determine where improvements can be made
  • Ensure that the operation achieves budget objectives by continually examining accounts, operating controls and composite figures and adjusting budgets to allocate resources in a cost-effective manner
  • Build a strong rapport with financial institutions and other business representatives

In this role you will implement sales policies, best practices and procedures as well as projecting short-term and long-term sales strategies. As part of the management team you will drive the business forward with competitive strategies, growing the sales of emerging product lines together with management of commercial contracts.


The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with a background in sales and can demonstrate growing a small entrepreneurial company. A successful team motivator with the experience of nurturing a sales team to achieve success. You will have the ability to solve problems and analyze sales performance and market trends.
