Corporate Sales and Events Planner, Essex Boutique 4* Hotel, Up to £22,000
At Select Hospitality Chelmsford we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Corporate Sales and Events Planner.
To generate and organise new corporate rooms, meetings and food & beverage business for the company at local, regional and national levels. To liaise with clients and co-ordinate their requirements to ensure that expectations are met and exceeded by liaising with other departments within the hotel.
*Financial; Ensure all budget targets are met and where possible, exceeded
*Financial; Produce weekly forecasts and generate new business
*People; Develop a close working relationship within all departments of the hotel
*Service & Product; Ensure you have extensive knowledge of the hotel and facilities and cross sell wherever possible
*General; Attend meetings and training as required
*General; To undertake any reasonable requests made of you by the hotel including flexibility in hours, location and responsibilities
Experience and Skills required
*Experience within a hospitality background is beneficial but not essential
* Excellent communication skills
* Driven by enthusiasm
