An exciting opportunity has arisen in Bristol to work as part of the Performance Team in Trust Services to assist Divisions with the validation of Referral to Treatment (RTT) pathways and data quality report checking.

This role requires you to validate patient pathways, record RTT information into our patient administrative system (Medway) and investigate why delays have taken place and report them to the Deputy RTT Performance Lead.

We are looking for a motivated team member to join our extremely busy Referral to Treatment Validation Team. The patient pathway requires information to be collected at various points along the patient journey. The post holder will be required to proactively monitor and validate patients on clinical pathway, ensuring that access targets are met and investigating next steps to escalate to the appropriate teams.

The successful candidate will possess the skills and key competencies to support the needs of the department, as stipulated in the person specification. You will need to be organized, diligent and have patient care as your primary concern. You should have a good understanding of RTT pathway rules as well as awareness and understanding of other national targets. We will offer the successful candidate the relevant training however previous experience of working with Medway and RTT pathways is preferred. You will be required to have a professional and mature working attitude, to liaise with patients and staff.

To be short-listed for this role, you will be expected to show the skills demonstrated on the person specification, evidenced by succinct examples and clear written communication.

All candidates chosen for interview will be required to undertake a Referral to Treatment test
