Job Title: Corporate Receptionist
Location: London
Hours: 7.30 - 4.30 / 8.30 - 5.30
Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a professional and proactive Corporate Receptionist to join our receptionist team and deliver an exceptional front-of-house experience. This role is pivotal in ensuring visitors, clients, and staff receive outstanding service, with responsibilities spanning reception duties, team leadership, and administrative support.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Visitor Management:

    • Meet and greet visitors professionally, ensuring they sign in and are issued visitor passes in line with access control policies.
    • Notify building users of client arrivals, deliveries, and couriers.
    • Escort external visitors as required.
  • Operations and Administration:

    • Prepare for the next day's meetings and visitor schedules using systems.
    • Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area throughout the day.
    • Carry out post room duties, including sorting, franking, and processing special deliveries.
    • Report facilities issues to relevant teams and assist in resolving them promptly.
  • Team and Emergency Support:

    • Support the reception team, ensuring all expectations are met and support is effectively provided.
    • Handle emergencies, including contacting emergency services when required.
  • Reporting and Feedback:

    • Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with company systems.
    • Provide constructive feedback and ensure smooth communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Skills and Requirements

We're looking for a candidate who demonstrates the following:

  1. Experience working in corporate environments.
  2. Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  3. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. An enthusiastic, committed, and professional demeanour.
  7. Strong telephone etiquette and diplomacy when dealing with clients.
  8. Ability to work under pressure and maintain a confident, assertive approach.
