Gleeds is growing the Corporate Communications team, and we now have an exciting career opportunity for a Corporate Communications Manager to be based in London.
Gleeds is a global multidisciplinary consultancy and holds a strong position in the health marketplace throughout Europe, America, The Middle East and Asia Pacific principally by providing consistently high quality advice and delivering value, often on a repeat basis, for many public, private and third sector clients.
Supporting Gleeds’ global business operation, we need an experienced Corporate Communication Manager to help us generate compelling content, build strong stakeholder relationships and market the Gleeds brand as a leader in its field.
Reporting to the Corporate Communications Director, the role will include the following:
• Contribute to the development of marketing communication planning, with a particular focus on corporate responsibility
•Develop and manage an editorial calendar for use across internal and external channels
•Research, write and publish reader-centric content for various communication channels including newsletters, intranet, brochures, flyers, adverts, awards submissions, reports, presentations and the website
•Work with business development, regional and sector leads to develop targeted marketing and communications campaigns. Where required work with the e- Communications Office to develop direct marketing and social content
•Manage advertising, sponsorship and general marketing requests: such as the production of flyers, brochures, reports and thought leadership
•Provide direction to graphic designers on all elements of the Gleeds brand and corporate identity
•Manage corporate events, exhibitions and conferences; setting objectives and measuring ROI
•Work with external PR consultants to manage PR activity, protecting and enhancing the Gleeds reputation. This will entail understanding key issues, brief colleagues, build relationships with journalists and industry figures
•Identify new ways to promote Gleeds as a first class organisation to clients - prospective and existing - employees and the industry.
Additionally, you will play a supporting role in the delivery of Gleeds’ new intranet as required - working closely with our Gleeds Communications Director and fellow Communications Manager
Applicants should have ideally have 8+ years’ relevant work experience and be experienced in coordinating PR, marketing and internal communications.
This should include:
•Working with graphic designers to brief in artwork requirements
•Marketing/communications planning, including stakeholder mapping
•Experience in developing or maintaining intranets - desirable
•Experience in using Adobe InDesign package - desirable
•Design and print process
You will have working knowledge of media relations and digital marketing channels, including social and direct marketing; developing and managing an editorial calendar ; managing the requirements and expectations of multiple stakeholder groups.
You will have excellent written and spoken communications skills; be confident in dealing with senior colleagues and clients and have the ability to develop great relationships, and in doing so gathering content for use in corporate communication; you will be a creative thinker with absolute attention to detail and excellent project management and organisational skills.
Working collaboratively, as part of a tight team, this job requires you to be able to meet multiple challenging deadlines without compromising on quality or accuracy and when required apply calm and positive problem solving skills, using sound judgment.
You will have a proactive and enthusiastic approach, be a strong influencer, and be capable of taking on a varied degree of tasks and responsibilities.
Qualifications: Ideally, candidates will be degree qualified, combined with with relevant experience.
Hours: Full time (37.5 per week). 9am - 5.15pm
Overtime may be needed from time to time to meet specific deadlines.
