Corporate Account Manager - Nationwide

We have an opportunity to recruit a Corporate Account Manager to join our team. With a growing portfolio it is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to take the next step in their career and join a well-established and successful team.
Your time will be spent managing a portfolio of accounts that you will inherit from day one. You will be required to maintain a vibrant pipeline of additional opportunities and compile development plans for existing clients. Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Accounts you will join an experienced team of Account Managers backed by a strong support network. As this is a national role there will be the requirement for extensive UK travel, however you will also need to work closely with the customer support teams based in Aylesbury.
Key responsibilities for the Corporate Account Manager include:
Retention, growth and improving profitability in relation to your portfolio against agreed sales targets.
Managing your clients to a high level of satisfaction whilst contributing to the overall team strategy and goals.
Contribute to best practice working groups within Biffa when required.
Proactively deliver innovative solutions that meet the customers' requirements.
You will be:
Able to demonstrate skills to effectively manage national accounts in a field-based role and a track record of sales success within the waste marketplace or similar sector.
Fully conversant with Excel as well as presentation and reporting tools.
Enthusiastic and possess excellent inter-personal and presentation skills whilst demonstrating a strong 'can do' attitude towards proactive account management.
Able to demonstrate good time management and strong organisational qualities, essential as you will work remotely a lot of the time.
Tenacious, resilient, determined to succeed and prepared to 'go that extra mile' to secure long term profitable relationships
