Your role:

Copywriting shouldn’t be a mundane task. It should be about ensuring your message inspires and catches the imagination of those you are speaking to. Within this role, you will be responsible for engaging with 14-18-year-olds and showing them that they do not have to go to University to have a successful future.

Understanding how to connect with young people is your main focus, which can be a challenge but extremely rewarding. Information needs to be quick, simple, fun and luckily you can use all forms of marketing including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, blogging, flyers, brochure design, articles and events to name a few.

The team and support:

Joining a team fourteen (spread over two sites) you are in good hands, professionally and socially, with regular team outings and support from your Manager - Kav.

Kav joined QAA in 2015 and has been promoted to the Senior Marketing Manager, which goes to show that we offer opportunities for people who work hard and are looking for career progression.

Financial package and benefits:

We are offering a base salary of up to £35,000 (dependant on experience), Private Pension as well as 25 days holiday, 2 days paid Charity work each year for a charity of your choice, 3 days of additional training from our very own course selection (1,200 to be precise), subsidised gym membership and cycle to work scheme.

What skills/experience are we looking for?

  • Graduate calibre with Copywriting experience
  • Youth, entertainment (gaming, app) or consumer technology writing background is desirable but not essential
  • Proven experience of social media content production
  • An innovative and creative writer who is able to channel their inner teenager and portray copy in a compelling and engaging way
  • Good relationship building and communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • A real advocate of outstanding copy
  • A team player who is able to support and mentor more junior members of the team

Understanding how to connect with different people and adapting your writing technique accordingly is your main focus, which can be a challenge but extremely rewarding. Information needs to be quick, simple, fun and luckily you can use all forms of marketing including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, blogging, flyers, brochure design, articles and events to name a few.

You will need to be an assertive writer who feels confident in leading projects and adapting to various target audiences.
