On behalf of our client, a rapidly growing energy company in South Yorkshire we are currently seeking to recruit a Coordinator to manage the installation of meters across their growing base of new customers.
Smart meters are currently being rolled out in homes and businesses across the UK and it is the aim of energy providers and the government to have these installed across the country by 2020. A smart meter is a new kind of gas and electricity meter that can digitally send meter readings to the energy supplier for more accurate energy bills. Smart meters come with in displays, so the owner can better understand their energy usage.
Our client is growing by several hundred new customers each week and, as such, new customers with older meters require upgrades.
With this large volume of new business, a new role has been created for a Coordinator to schedule and organise for this installation.
It will be your responsibility to liaise with the customer and the installation team to plan and schedule the installation of a meter at each new property and to communicate with all parties involved to ensure a smooth and efficient service, pre and post installation
Required skills and experience
Computer literacy with knowledge of CRM and standard office packages
Ability to meet and surpass service KPI’s
Strong organisational skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Experience within a sales or service environment
Experience within the power or utilities sector
Basic knowledge of Smart Meters and utility metering
