Conveyancing Solicitor

My client are currently looking to hire a full time Conveyancer, for a position based in Rochester

They are looking for the right candidate who has experience with supporting senior solicitors and handling some of their own caseloads.

They want someone who has a brief experience within

• Auction
• Right to buy / help to buy
• Lease extensions
• Residential Conveyancing / Commercial Conveyancing

The Role

We are seeking a conveyancing solicitor for a solid long term opportunity with opportunities for progression. You will work closely with our senior solicitors and deal with a full range of residential and commercial conveyancing matters and will be expected to deal with all aspects of the matter from start to finish under supervision.

We are looking for someone who is well presented, hardworking, motivated, enthusiastic, able to work efficiently and accurately at a fast pace to ensure that deadlines are not missed, able to demonstrate good attention to detail and able to work as part of a team.

A Conveyancer will handle caseloads from start to finish on a file. This includes freehold and leasehold sales and purchases (including new builds, shared ownerships and help to buy) bridging loans, remortgages, transfers of equity, lease extensions, commercial property and other matters.

Typical tasks: Client care and case progression, providing conveyancing quotes, carrying out searches; drafting contracts and other draft documents; all aspects of post-completion for registered and unregistered land, answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries from clients, agents and brokers, taking on delegated tasks where required, carrying out any required administrative duties, and training other members of staff
