Trainee Conveyancing Secretary

An opportunity has arisen for a TRAINEE Conveyancing Secretary to join a busy and growing Conveyancing department consisting of three solicitors, a paralegal and two secretaries in Woodford Green. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience working within a similar role.

Skills Required:-

  • Dictation Transcription / Typing
  • Good Telephone Manner
  • Competency on Microsoft Office (including excel)
  • Team Player
  • Initiative
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience essential (minimum of 12 months)
  • Able to work for more than one fee earner

Typical Tasks:-

  • Typing emails and letters
  • File opening
  • SDLT returns
  • Land Registry applications
  • Preparing contract packs
  • Exchange memorandums
  • Scanning
  • Preparing draft bills/completion statements

Required skills
