A R Brown and Co Solicitors, based in central Worthing, are in a prominent and convenient position on the main A24, Chapel Road.

We are seeking two qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives to work within this busy practice.
The Conveyancing role includes a range of tasks in the following areas of work:
- Freehold and Leasehold matters (sales and purchases)
- Lease Extensions
- Knowledge of commercial property transactions would be an advantage (e.g. business sales and purchases)
- Granting Leases
- Shared Ownership
- Deeds of Variation
- New build transactions
The successful candidate in the Probate role will undertake a range of tasks in the following areas of law:
- Probate and Wills;
- Inheritance Tax liability;
- Powers of Attorney and registering LPAs and EPAs; and
- Elderly Client Matters.
You will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (who is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives) with at least 3 years post qualification experience.
You will have previously managed your own heavy case load and have the ability to generate your own business in order to add value to the practice.
For the conveyancing role you will also have a background in conveyancing and have been involved with the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme.
For the Probate role you will ideally have experience of Trust work.
