Due to continued expansion, the firm is now seeking a dedicated Residential Property Legal Secretary to join its busy Conveyancing team in Loughborough.
Role Overview
As a Residential Property Legal Secretary, you will provide essential administrative and typing support to the Conveyancing department, ensuring smooth operation and excellent service delivery to clients. This role is ideal for an organised, proactive, and client-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
Providing secretarial and administrative support to fee earners in the Conveyancing department.
Preparing and typing correspondence and legal documents (including audio typing) with accuracy and efficiency.
Handling incoming telephone enquiries professionally and courteously.
Liaising directly with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties.
Maintaining and managing case files, ensuring documents are kept up to date.
Supporting the team with general office administration tasks.
Skills & Experience Required
Accurate typing and audio typing skills.
A professional and confident telephone manner.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Previous experience in a legal or conveyancing environment is desirable but not essential.
A willingness to learn, adapt, and provide exceptional client service.
