Due to the ongoing continued success of our Conveyancing Department, we are looking for a Post Exchange & Completions Clerk to join the busy residential conveyancing team.

The ideal candidate;

· Must have experience of working in a conveyancing department

· Will have strong organisational skills and will be able to prioritise their workload effectively

· Must have meticulous attention to detail

· Will be proficient in IT and possess strong mathematical skills

· Must be experienced in delivering a high standard administrative service

· Will have a confident telephone manner and a 'can do’ attitude

Job role;

· Liaise with clients, solicitors, lenders, managing agents and estate agents after exchange of Contracts

· Compile, check and provide completion statements to all parties

· Put together the documents required for completion using Word, Excel and a Case Management system

· Conduct all the telephone calls on the day of completion, confirming completion to all parties involved in transaction

· Compiling completion letters to all parties involved in conveyancing transaction

· Submit Stamp Duty Land Tax

· Chase for necessary paperwork required before and after completion

· Assemble documents required for registration

· Submit applications to the Land Registry for new purchases, leases, lease extensions, transfers etc

· Check Titles and send out to clients and lenders upon completion by the Land Registry

· File closing and account balances

· Assist and promote the conveyancing department as required

You will be joining a friendly, welcoming team in a fast-paced exciting department.
