To support the Conveyancing Department by providing competent and efficient Legal support duties, including working with case-management system, performing dedicated tasks such as routine searches, carrying out Land Registry online registrations, checking maps and administration support duties.
o To assist Conveyancers in the management of case-load by dealing with file related queries
o To assist Conveyancers by undertaking tasks such as Land Registry registrations online, drafting Contracts and Transfers and preparing financial statements. To ensure that the clients needs are met and dealt with efficiently, politely and any legal matters are addressed and referred to the Conveyancer.
o To answer telephone calls (both internally and externally) in an efficient matter and messages taken when necessary.
o Ability to build and maintain working relationships with others and to work in a team environment.
Willingness to help to all colleagues as part of the Conveyancing Team to ensure the success of the firm.
o Excellent all round communication skills including the capability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
o Previous experience of working within a conveyancing team
o Working knowledge of Microsoft packages
o Familiar with case management system - although training will be provided
o Practical experience of handling client enquiries both by telephone and face to face
