Our client whom are a well established Legal organisation based in Taunton have a fantastic opportunity, they are looking to recruit a full time Conveyancing Assistant to join their team.
Duties to include:
To support the Conveyancing Department by providing competent and efficient Legal duties, including working with case-management system, performing dedicated tasks such as completing SDLT returns online, carrying out Land Registry online registrations, drafting Contracts and Transfers under supervision.
To assist Conveyancers in the management of case-load by dealing with file related queries.
To assist Conveyancers by undertaking tasks such as SDLT returns, Land Registry registrations online, drafting Contracts and Transfers and preparing financial statements.
To ensure that the clients needs are met and dealt with efficiently, politely and any legal matters are addressed and referred to the Conveyancer.
To answer telephone calls (both internally and externally) in an efficient matter and messages taken when necessary.
Working knowledge of using software packages
Familiar with case management system
Practical experience of handling client enquiries both by telephone and face to face.
Conveyancing knowledge would be advantageous
