Conveyancing Assistant/Secretary

Our client is looking to recruit a full time Conveyancing Assistant/Secretary for our Property Department at our Bingley office.
The following skills are required:

  • Carry out typing and/or arrange correspondence and documents through audio-typing and word processing
  • Record all client and matter details on the management system, set up new files, and ensure that the client/matter details are kept up to date
  • Make appointments, arrange meetings and to maintain an up-to-date diary for the Fee Earner
  • Attend to clients both in person and on the telephone and to provide such support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm's standards for client care
  • Assist in general office administration
  • Answer telephone calls efficiently and politely and take messages, as necessary
  • Ensure that all internal methods, systems, policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Administration tasks as and when needed
  • Carry out reception duties
  • Conveyancing experience is essential (residential or commercial) and you must be able to manage your own work allocation, productivity and quality of work with minimum supervision

  • Office Hours: 9-5.30 (1 hour for lunch)
  • Holidays - starts at 24 days plus bank holidays
