This role is ideal for an experienced conveyancer who can confidently handle their own caseload or someone with a proven background in managing teams of case handlers.

The Role

As a Conveyancer, you will:

  • Manage your own caseload of residential property transactions including leaseholds, freeholds, registered, and unregistered properties.

  • Provide day-to-day coaching, mentoring, and support to team members as required.

  • Support the Team Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the team.

  • Assess risk on each transaction and provide sound, pragmatic legal advice.

  • Conduct thorough file reviews prior to the exchange of contracts to ensure all details are accurate and compliant.

  • Prioritise and proactively manage workloads while supporting colleagues to achieve the same.

  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • You will work closely with Associates, Property Lawyers, Senior Property Lawyers, and your Team Manager to deliver a high-quality service.

Key Requirements
  • Law Degree, LPC, qualified Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor, or Legal Executive (FCILEX).

  • Proven experience managing a conveyancing caseload across a range of residential property transaction types.

  • Strong skills in handling complex legal matters with attention to detail.

  • Effective communicator with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.

  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Familiarity with Case Management Systems and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred but not essential.
