Conversion and Optimisation Specialist

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to work with our current team to help Missguided develop and expand further. Our ideal candidate is someone who can add new ideas, experience, energy and enthusiasm into the mix. The successful candidate will need to enjoy and thrive from working in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage our experimentation and optimisation roadmap
  • Own our experimentation platforms and other 3 rd party tools and use them to deliver against ecommerce metrics
  • Lead collaborative efforts to drive a mindset of experimentation in other teams - engaging with CRM, Trading and marketing teams
  • Become the go to for guidance and support in your field of expertise
  • Ensure we have solutions in place to experiment in new digital channels e.g. app, site, store
  • Work with the UX and product disciplines - ensuring you are clear on sprint priorities
  • Act on insight provided by Customer Insights team and your own analysis, driving a culture of data driven decision-making


  • Create and maintain a process and relevant documentation for hypothesis creation and experimentation briefing
  • Own the commercial metrics for experimentation, site optimisation and personlaisation
  • Hold frequent business reviews with all 3 rd parties - aiming to maximise the commercial return of all investments in service or product
  • Drive a culture of test and learn, and encourage Missguided to think about digital experience being bespoke rather than general
  • Support the development of future tools and techniques to aid further understanding of customer or website behaviour
  • Work closely with Web analyst to define, execute and analyse customer behaviour to uncover critical observations and trends that will maximize our e-commerce metrics
  • Monitor and analyse testing performance, identify areas of improvement, and work with eCommerce team to recommend ways to increase key metrics
  • Design experiments to A/B and multivariate test new site features and functionalities
  • Work closely with all engaged 3 rd parties to ensure we are maximising use of all tools and resources
  • Manage the development, design and launch of testing and personalisation activities - own the full test lifecycle
  • Translate both qualitative and quantitative test results into actionable business insights
  • Support eCommerce Team with ad-hoc test requests

Key Skills

  • Working Knowledge of Optimizely, or another testing and personalisation platform
  • Experience of working with data, and presenting in an engaging manner
  • Capable of dealing with a prioritised workload, and delivering in a timely and organized way
  • Experience of working with JIRA, or other work management tool
  • Capable of liaising with developers, marketers, and other teams to ensure work is completed
