  • To identify and deliver training requirements for Dematic Northern Europe
  • Design and conduct training and learning events

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of a training strategy for the Academy @Dematic and its customers.

  • Provide development advice & support to Dematic Ltd Managers

  • Contribute to the generation and maintenance of a Training Brochure for Dematic Ltd

  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation

  • Actively sell and deliver training to the Dematic Ltd customer base and new customers

  • Produce quotations for training

  • Actively acquire and maintain Training accreditations (NVQ centre, EDIetc)

  • Conduct PFPE (personnel fall protection equipment) thorough examinations on behalf of the company, across all departments using the equipment.

  • Support the Dematic Ltd NVQ centre, maintaining accreditation and delivering internal and external NVQ in various disciplines.

  • Development and delivery of new training courses to meet business requirements selecting the appropriate blended learning technique for the delivery

  • Support the development of different learning techniques to create a holistic and blended approach to Dematic learning needs, including smarter training, trainer lead and eLearning

  • Attend customer meetings and action allocated tasks

  • Ensure quality of output

  • Promote the Company with its customers

  • Act as an ambassador of the Company

  • Identify continuous improvement and sales opportunities

Specific Requirements:

  • Minimum HNC in either Electrical/Electronic/Controls Engineering

  • Hands-on experience within an automated warehouse environment covering electrical/controls disciplines.

  • Full driving licence
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Recognised Health & Safety qualification

  • Working knowledge of regulations covering automation industry i.e. LOLER. PPE, PUWER.

  • NVQ assessor status

  • Recognised training qualification

  • Qualification in PFPE thorough examination
