Controls Engineer

Attention Controls Engineers!

We are looking for a Controls Engineer to join a leading multidisciplinary firm in a long-term contract position. Our client offers a flexible hybrid arrangement, working from their London office.

This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting substation projects with an experienced and motivating team.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead P&C design for high-voltage substations (132kV+).

-Develop engineering solutions independently and in teams.

-Create detailed design packages to UK/international standards.

-Perform power system studies and set protection settings.

-Review and approve technical designs for safety and compliance.

-Assist with proposals, client meetings, and business growth.

What we are looking for:

-Degree in Electrical Engineering.

-Extensive relevant experience as a Controls Engineer, preferably on substations.

-Strong knowledge of substation P&C design.

-National Grid experience is a plus.

-Skilled in MS Office and CAD/BIM tools.

-Good communication and teamwork skills.
