*The Development and implementation of contracts of all types, e.g. spot purchases, block, or service level or framework agreements, for procured services to children, in line with national and local guidance and relevant legal and financial regulations
*To contribute to the delivery of good quality council services, and to the development and monitoring of contractual arrangements with providers of devices.
*To work with operational staff seeking provision for children and young people and to ensure that appropriate contracts are in place and monitored.
*Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, Barrister with a current practising certificate
*A minimum of 2 years PQE with a minimum of 1 years' experience in Contracts and Procurement
*Previous experience in handling a complex caseload of procurement or contracts matters
*Previous experience working in local authority is preferable, however candidates with private practice or in house experience will be considered.
