Contracts Manager

A public sector authority is looking for someone to take on a demanding role as a contracts manager for 12 months whilst the present post holder is on maternity leave.

You will be working as a member of the contracts team supporting the Senior Contracts Manager in managing a key acute contract. Your role will cover monthly performance analysis, supporting the monthly claims process and preparing a quarterly statement of penalties. In addition you will advise and support the integrated commissioning work streams on contractual issues. You will also be responsible for line managing the contract support analyst.

The public sector authority faces challenging times ahead with the development of new models of commissioning and contracting and with the move to commissioning services on the wider footprint of North East London. All of which require the active support of a contracts team to ensure successful implementation.

To succeed in this position you must be flexible in the way you work, respond positively to change and be capable of quickly forming sustainable working relationships. We need someone who has contract management experience, numerate, well developed IT skills, and familiar with the process of performance management

This is a full time position for a period of 12 months within IR35.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who has some contracting experience and who is seeking to develop their contract management skills further
