A leading North Wales based civil engineering contractor are looking for a Contracts Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, taking a lead on several schemes ranging in value up to £2.5m This business are a long standing, highly reputable contractor with an excellent base of blue chip clients.
Your new role
You will take overall responsibility for several schemes with works delivered include tank bases, tank farms, piling works, concrete works, infrastructure and deep drainage works. Long standing team with plenty of room for future progression within this growing business, this role will see you liaise with respective clients, managing site set ups with site managers, ensuring delivery to programme, taking a lead on H&S and working through any buildability issues as they occur. You will write RAMS and ensure all sites are running to programme, holding progress meetings on a weekly basis, taking a lead on man management and the logistical planning and operational delivery of each site.
What you'll need to succeed
This business have specified they require a natural people manager / leader with a strong technical knowledge of civils works. A rare opportunity that guarantees not having to travel over the likes of Manchester - 99% of works are within an hours drive from head office. This business will consider a proven Contracts Manager or an ambitious Project Manager looking to take the next step into managing multiple sites. This role will see you take the lead on delivery for each site in your remit from start to finish, On a variety of highly sought after frameworks. Must have proven experience in a client facing role
