Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Interim Contracts Manager to work for a public-sector organisation in Sheffield. This temporary opportunity is likely to be for a period of three months with the possibility of an extension

Role:

  • Responsible for the management and performance of a portfolio of contracts for a public-sector organisation and delivering a high level of tenders from start to finish
  • Interpreting, implementing and contributing to the development of policies, procedure and processes for contract development, contract negotiation, contract monitoring and performance management
  • Managing supplier relationships, adherence to KPIs and continually assessing quality of service and/or product to ensure effective, value for money delivery from the supply chain Preparing monthly reports and working closely with internal and/or external stakeholders

Person:

  • Previous Contract or Procurement Management experience or equivalent
  • Negotiate on difficult and controversial issues including performance and change
  • Managing activity, projects and business information
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Evidence of performance management and improvement
  • Stakeholder management experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent IT systems knowledge and experience
