Contracts Manager

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to work for a public sector organisation in Leeds. This temporary opportunity is likely to be for a period of three months with the possibility of an extension.

Role:

  • Negotiate, monitor and review a portfolio of contracts
  • Stakeholder Management
  • CHC contracting experience
  • Co-ordinate / plan contract negotiations for the designated portfolio of contracts
  • Develop agreements that reconcile to planning assumptions in accordance with national directives, policy changes and local aims, ensuring contracts are robust and incorporate all legal and technical requirements
  • Support contract negotiations with expert knowledge of the wider provider landscape and leverage opportunities for improved performance, quality and value for money
  • Develop and manage relationships with providers which ensures they are held to account for delivery

Person:

  • Specialist knowledge of areas relating to the specific requirements of the post
  • Commissioning and/or contracting experience within secondary or tertiary care
  • Understanding of the principles of project management
