Our client is a rapidly growing main contractor based in Cambridge who operating throughout East Anglia.
As a business they undertake a wide variety of work within most sectors such as private residential, commercial, education and leisure - from small projects to multi-million commercial developments
Due to the growth of the company they are seeking to employ a contracts manager to run multiple projects at anyone time form £250k to £5 million in value. You will be working with the Managing Director and Contracts Supervisors from start to completion on a range of projects across East Anglia
Previous experience in this role would be preferred and ideally from a medium sized Main Contractor although a Projects Manager/Senior Site Manager who is looking to progress would also be considered.
Responsibilities would be organizing and managing labour, dealing with health and safety elements such as method statements and risk assessments, client liaison and valuations/invoicing with the administration team.
The role would be varied between office and site working and dealing with the companies Managing Director, Quantity surveyors, site management team, directly employed labour and self employed labour
