Kelly Services are recruiting on behalf of a well-established not-for-profit nursing and residential care organisation based in Worcester for a contracts manager vacancy.
Your new job
As the successful contracts manager you will effectively manage the suppliers of goods and services for the company minimising risk and maximising value for money (Vfm). You will implement and track the use of contracts across the business paying particular attention on supplier, contract and demand management to ensure the business understands and knows its suppliers and implements cost saving initiatives. As the contracts manager you will lead the development, implementation and delivery of the procurement strategy through supplier management activity, the re-negotiation of existing contracts, contribute to the business development with emphasis on new builds and acquisitions.
Skills you should have to succeed
The successful contracts manager will have significant experience in financial management of contracts and services and proven experience in managing projects and process improvement. As the contracts manager, you are expected to have working knowledge of operations, supply, purchasing and business management and knowledge of European Procurement legislation and current practice.
