Elevation Recruitment - Business Support Division, are excited to be exclusively partnered with a Manufacturing client in Worksop in their search for a Contracts Controller to join them on a permanent basis

As a Contracts Controller you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for contract performance starting from order receipt or the Letter of Intent stage.
  • Review and verify contract terms and Letters of Credit to ensure the commercial and financial terms are acceptable.
  • Initiate both in-house production and external purchasing through the creation of works orders.
  • Lead formal contract reviews, collaborating with relevant departments to align on contract requirements and ensure planning is in place.
  • Manage contracts within budget and prepare financial performance reports to ensure alignment with expectations.
  • Oversee customer demand with precise forecasting to aid in effective capacity planning by the Production Control team.
  • Deliver a professional and solution-oriented approach to contract management, ensuring customer requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide commercial support to the purchasing and proposals team as required, particularly during peak workloads or staff absences.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, purchasing, shipping, and contract negotiation, or a comparable level of experience backed by a relevant graduate qualification.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business operations.
