Our client is an innovative leading provider and developer of affordable housing and related services in Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire, managing over 11,000 properties.
They are currently seeking a Contractor Administrator to join their team based in Towcester. The main purpose of this role is to provide administrative support for the Internal Repairs Team to enhance the delivery of the repair and maintenance function of the business whilst providing excellent customer care.
Within this role your main responsibilities will include providing updates to customers on progress, dealing with queries arising from works; acting as the main point of contact for Operative enquiries from site and ensuring the upkeep of management systems, where all works completed are accurately recorded in line with client requirements. You’ll also monitor the progress of workloads, rescheduling appointments / visits as necessary; order and organise the delivery of plant and materials and check and prepare invoices for authorised payment.
The successful candidate will have worked within a busy administrative role previously and will have some knowledge of a housing or building related environment. You should have experience of arranging and planning works or services and you will ideally have experience of working within a team of contractors / operatives. Highly organised and efficient, you’ll be able to follow procedures, keep clear and concise records and liaise effectively at all levels whilst working to deadlines.
