Contract Manager 4PL

The MIQ Value Added Warehouse Team are responsible for the management and development of their Fashion retail business. We have a requirement for an 4PL Contract Manager to join this team at our partners warehouse in Birmingham.

The Main Duties Are As Follows:

  • 4PL Operational Co-ordination of Tom Dixon operation within our partners warehouse in Birmingham.

  • Coordinate and engage with the operational team to drive enhanced performance to exceed customer expectations.

  • Manage Customer communication between Customer and supplier, Phone, email and order schedules and deliveries.

  • Manage operational goals and metrics, responsibility for ensuring Paul Ponsonby team meet agreed kpi’s.

  • Prepare and Manage monthly Operational meetings and Quarterly Business reviews.

  • Coordinate with Paul Ponsonby Management team to ensure adherence to agreed Access Delta warehouse management system, SOP’s and processes within the warehouse.

  • Working with operational team to review SOP’s & processes to ensure an efficient process and foster a continuous improvement culture.

  • Take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are introduced and manage Inventory levels to contractual requirements.

  • Manage monthly P&L including monthly Invoicing

Person Specification:

The role requires an individual who is not only flexible, but also able to coordinate others. The ability to make things happen. The ideal candidate will need excellent communication skills, as the role requires extensive customer and supplier contact at various levels.

Experience and skills:

  • Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Customer focused with proactive approach to customer service.

  • Account Management experience

  • Strong administration skills.

  • Logistic operational management experience.

  • Commercial P&L responsibility.

  • Project change management experience.

  • Process reengineering.

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.

  • Good knowledge of dispatch on web, retail and wholesale channels

  • understand/deliver on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

  • Warehouse management system experience. Access Delta preferred, but not essential

  • Clean car driving license

  • MS Office advanced level
