We are working with a global outsourced services provider who want to hire a contract administration professional to join their CM team in Belgium.
Responsibilities are for the co-ordination of the the contract process related activities during contract negotiations and liaison with the primary stakeholders for the CM team, who are lawyers in the Legal Department, the Procurement Department and the business, to ensure that all parties are providing best value added vendor contracts for their Clients.
Specifically the CM team is custodian of all contract related processes during contract negotiations using standard templates for different types of contracts and determines the contract template that the contract lawyers and procurator team should use to best execute each contract. The CM team verifies the filled in templates and requests input from the contract lawyers and procurement on their respective areas on terms or rates agreed. It is important to note that the CM team does not negotiate rates or legal terms with the Clients but acts as a service driven facilitator to the lawyers and procurement professionals.
Candidates will have contract management experience and must have a good understanding of contract terminologies, critical clauses & articles that need special attention on account of fines or credits. You will need to focus on details and data accuracy when tracking contract development steps and will have the ability to prioritize tasks and to reference and track down past work for comparative checks or identical situations.
