A fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Manager has become available within an up and coming and diverse Finance company in the City close to Bank tube station.
Our client is seeking a personable and professional candidate to fill this position.

JOB ROLE: HR Manager
JOB TYPE: Contract - 18 months Maternity Cover
SALARY: £35,000 - £40,000 *Depending on experience
LOCATION: City of London

They are seeking a strong candidate to support the HR team and also delve into the strategic management of the business.

JOB ROLE: HR Manager

JOB TYPE: Contract - 18 months Maternity Cover

COMPANY: Finance

HOURS: 9.00am-17.30am

SALARY: £35,000 - £40,000 *Depending on experience

LOCATION: City of London

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:

  • Responsible for the management duties for the HR team.
  • All aspects of employee relations including disciplinary, grievance and capability issues, leading on complex cases, including employment tribunals.
  • Assisting the CEO and Talent Manager with general day to day administration task
  • Drafting resignation acceptance letters
  • Setting up new personnel files, both manual and electronic
  • To build strong working relationships with senior managers and provide expert, customer focused support from the HR team to all internal clients.
  • Ensure that all local HR files, folders and documents are maintained with accurate up to date information
  • To establish and maintain HR and management information and record keeping, and provide periodic data reports as required.
  • Be the first point of contact for any and all aspects of the HR administration and payroll queries

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

    • Strong education *Educated to degree level or equivalent
    • Credible working history. HR Managerial experience is necessary
    • Experience within Financial Services is necessary
    • A high degree of interpersonal skills utilising these to build trust and confidence.
    • Excellent computer literacy skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
    • Ability to pick out key information and report it in a timely manner using appropriate means of communication.
    • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels.
    • Professional and discreet. Strong work ethic.
    • Well presented, friendly and personable.
