We are actively seeking a Contracts Electronics Engineer for a leading company in the Instrumentation industry based in the Cambridgeshire area.

The Contract Manufacturing Engineer will be part of the R&D team and will be responsible for undertaking the design and development of electrical and electronic elements of new product development, existing product design sustaining and custom products.

The ideal Contract Manufacturing Engineer will have experience in:
*Design, simulation and test of electrical systems and electronics for electro-mechanical products incorporating firmware and interfacing with software systems.
*Documenting design information.
*Working in an ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) environment.
*Taking products through external testing e.G. EMC and Regulatory.
*New product development and introduction to manufacture.
*Technical support of manufacturing operations.
*Working with small multi-disciplined teams.
*Interfacing with external contract manufacturers, part suppliers, design and technical resources.
