Content Marketing Specialist

Salary: to £35k, free parking, own transport essential

Are you looking to join a fast paced environment in a company that is experienced un-precedented growth?

Our client is looking for someone to manage the creation, management and delivery of engaging content including multiple marketing assets. You will create and develop blogs as part of this strategy and also create content for internal and external social media channels.

Person specification

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • A solid understanding of social media, email marketing and PR - a multi-channel approach to content marketing
  • Through understanding of SEO and the role of content
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics & email marketing
  • Strong copywriting, content creation, editing and proofreading skills
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of social media platforms
  • Experience of producing multi-channel marketing assets including video and photography
  • Proficient in MS office, wordpress and Adobe or similar
  • Knowledge of CRM/email marketing packages would be ideal
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong Project management and attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of UX

Key responsibilities

Content Activity

  • Manage the creation, management and delivery of engaging content including multiple marketing assets
  • Create and develop blogs as part of the central content strategy
  • Create and curate content for internal and external social media channels
  • Ongoing content development for website optimisation (multiple sites)

PR Activity

  • Create and deliver a content editorial and PR calendar
  • Engage and develop relationships with media and influencers

Social Media Activity

  • Oversee the management of multiple social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Linkedin, Pinterest etc)
  • Ongoing social media management to increase followers and engagement
  • Content creation (imagery and short form videos) experience desirable
  • Manage social media Ads and campaigns

Marketing & Campaign Activity

  • Improving click and open rates on email and social media content.
  • Develop email marketing programme to deliver increased level of leads
  • Support events and conferences with content management and PR coverage
