Our client are a fast growing business.

This is an exciting time to join the marketing area of the business as they have just rebranded and are working very hard to implement the brand on a national scale

This role will sit within the Marketing/Creative team along with Graphic Designers, Event’s Organisers, PPC Specialists and General Digital Marketing.

The role will be covering Copywriting and Content Creation as well as taking care of the overall brand messaging and tone of voice and will work across brands to streamline the communication and messaging, online (web, social) & offline (print advertising).

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Taking care of both online and offline content and messaging
  • Writing 2-3 blogs per week for the website/social media with SEO considerations
  • Website copy generation - streamling what’s already in place in line with new branding
  • Some print advertising with different adverts/message depending on the target audience

The Opportunity

  • The main initial project is focusing in the rebranding and launching the brand so this is an exciting time to get involved as you are trying to appeal to different demographics.
  • Further down the line (later in the year), the business are having a massive overhaul of their branding and the message they are sending out so this will mean that the content and branding does needs to keep 'on message’
  • In terms of career development, the business will help candidates through any internal/external training they feel they need to help in their role such as completing the CIM.
  • As marketing is such a huge growth area, this role could progress into Head of Messaging, Marketing Executive, Head of Content etc so there isn’t a limit to self development.



Describe what the candidate will be doing with this particular skill/technology/methodology day-to-day.

Content Creation

  • Writing original content for Blogs, Websites, Adverts (being able to provide examples through a portfolio)
  • Being able to write on a number of topics and sound credible e.g.
  • Able to use a CMS system to update the website


  • Advertising on a number of platforms such as print, web, social media etc.
  • Create sound headlines, calls to action
  • Understand different messaging for different brands and demographics

Degree in journalism/marketing OR CIM would be beneficial

Some exposure to SEO

Good planning skills - e.g. the marketing manager does this currently but if this person can plan the running of ads and campaigns then this would be helpful in future.
