Content and Internal Communications IC Officer
Are you an experienced content writer with a Public Sector background, with previous exposure of delivering internal communication activity? This is a newly created opportunity with a widely respected Public Sector organisation.
Content and Internal Communications Officer - Minimum 6 months
£240 - £500 per day (Inside IR35)

Reed Marketing & Creative is currently partnering with a well known and respected Public Sector organisation, who have an immediate requirement for an experienced Content Writer within IC who has exposure to the Public Sector. In this post, you will support the delivery of internal communication activity for the organisation's Learning & Development transformation programme
Reporting to the Learning & Development Transformation Programme Manager, the postholder’s primary responsibility will be to design and deliver engaging content in line with the priorities of the learning & development transformation programme. This will include driving and developing high-quality content and products for print, online and face-to-face channels to reinforce our key themes and messages; and researching, interviewing, writing, editing, proofreading, collating amendments and managing approvals as required.
Material may include emails, briefings, presentations, news articles, feature articles, speeches, talking points, questions and answers, guidance, digital content, poster copy, video scripts, infographics, social media content, media lines, media releases, etc.
It is essential you have previous Public Sector experience, as well as experience of designing and delivering strategic communications; translating programme objectives and messages to relevant and effective content for a diverse range of stakeholders and audiences. A high standard of writing skills and an ability to write clear and compelling content that engages the target audience is a pre-requisite as is content creation skills, and an ability to create compelling content in the most appropriate format.
