PART TIME, FIXED TERM UNTIL MARCH 2021
RATE OF PAY £8.52 PER HOUR
Core Assets Children’s Services are an established children’s services provider that delivers innovative and outcomes-based services, offering real value and building brighter futures for as many children, young people and families as possible.
We are looking for 3 Contact Support Workers to support the delivery of our new contract with CAFCASS until March 2021 in the areas listed below:
1x 10 hour post Hull
1x 10 hour post & 1x 5 hour post Sheffield
With the skills to engage, motivate and challenge you will supervise contact with family members and deliver the Separated Parents Information Programme. This will entail participating in activities both within and outside the agency premises.
With a background in social work, youth work or any other related area and an understanding of the challenges faced by children, young people and families, it is essential that you have at least 1 years’ experience of working with children and families as well as a sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures. You must be able to evidence good communication, observation and report writing skills.
You will be required to work flexibly across the week, which will include providing evening and weekend support to families.
